Poke, one of Hawaii’s signature dishes, has exploded in popularity around the world. As with all things, the further poke got from the Islands, the more liberties chefs were taking with Hawaii’s authentic flavors (no, pineapple should not be in a poke bowl). It was time for “Hawaii’s Home for Poke” to take back the poke bowl and refresh it with the melting pot flavors Hawaii is known for.
R.I.P. poké. Long live poke.
